Graded assignments will be sent home the following day to give you the opportunity to review the daily work with your child.  If your child has a low grade, he or she may make corrections (in red pencil) and I will raise the grade to a C.  The weekly spelling list will go home on Fridays with the test on the following Friday.

Math homework will  be assigned almost  every night (Monday through Thursday). Any unfinished daily work  becomes homework and is due the following morning.  Reading with your child, practicing math facts, reviewing daily work, practicing spelling words, and studying for tests is also considered homework.

Books can go home at any time for studying or reviewing, but they must be brought back to school the following morning.
