A doctors note must be written if you want your child to sit out of Physical
education or Recess.
Playground Rules
1. Play in your area.
2. No throwing objects (rocks, wood chips, berries) No throwing balls
at Church or school building, or garage.
3. No rough play.
4. Keep hands and feet to yourself.
5. Respect ALL.
Consequences: Time - out and a sign up in the recess book. 3 sign
ups and you have a conference with Mrs.
Mosher.
Classroom Rules
1. Wear Tennis shoes - tied with bows on top of the tongue
1. Girls wear shorts - no printing of words or pictures on the seat of the
shorts
2. Report directly to color group or line and begin activity posted.
3. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
4. Follow directions the first time.
5. Treat others as you want to be treated.
Consequences:
K,1,2,3,4,5 - Move bat one place, 3 strikes and you are out. (time-out)
6,7,8 - Sign up and follow steps of discipline plan.
Rewards:
Class chooses a favorite game to play.
Grading Procedure:
Pre-school, Pre-K, K,1,2,3,4 - conduct and effort grade
5,6,7,8, - The student is given 100 points for the day. They can keep them or
loose them depending on the following:
1. Not prepared for class, no tennis
shoes/shorts - 50 points They must sit out and do some kind of activity from Mrs.
Mosher.
2. Effort - 20 points All I ask is that you try your best.
3. Conduct -10 points Every time I have to correct you or a
negative comment is made toward teacher or classmates. Treat others as you
want to be treated. 4. A 100 point quiz will be given at the end of each lesson.
The percentage grade will be averaged with the daily student grade.
Come in follow the rules, be prepared for class, participate and treat others
with respect and you should receive all 100 points for the day.

*** Wearing of shorts and tennis shoes to school is easier than having the
child change before and after P.E. Some classes are only 30 minutes long.
