Introduction
Life in the 1800's was very different than life is today. Your recent visit to New Salem State Park gave you a sense of the living conditions of people during Lincoln's early life. The book Farmer Boy also describes life in the 1800's.
Task
You are to pretend that you are a boy or a girl in the early 1800's. You will need to visit the four websites listed on the below. You will need to take notes on the attached worksheet. You will need to write a three paragraph journal entry about your life. What you need to include is listed below.

What services are offered in your town? Who are your neighbors? Who do you play with and what do you play? | |
Include a detailed drawing of some aspect of your life. |
