A lunch menu is published monthly. We ask that parents review the menu with their children to determine which lunches the children will eat at school. Student hot lunches (full-day PreSchool through 8th grade) are $2.25. One milk (chocolate or white) is included with every meal. St. Aloysius uses a punch-style meal ticket. Lunch tickets and extra milk tickets should be purchased in the school office. You can purchase up to 20 lunches or milks on each ticket. The cost of the meal tickets are

Payment for tickets may be made by check or cash, sent with your student or dropped in the office window slot. If you are paying by check, please mark in the memo line “school lunches.”

Lunch and milk tickets will be kept at school with your child’s teacher. Every day at the start of lunch, the teacher will hand your child his/her ticket(s), and he/she will carry it down to the cafeteria where it will be punched if a hot lunch and/or extra milk is served to your child. If your child does not eat hot lunch or get extra milk, no punches will be made on his/her ticket. Parents will be notified when new lunch/milk tickets need to be purchased.

Lunch Shifts

St. Aloysius has three lunch shifts

  • 11:00 a.m. (Grades PreSchool-2)

  • 11:30 a.m. (Grades 3-5)

  • 12:00 p.m. (Grades 6-8)

Time on the playground after lunch is combined with the lunchtime so as to total 45 minutes except for the last shift which is approximately 40 minutes long. Each shift is on the playground by themselves without the older students mixing in with the younger ones.
