Dear Parents,

Thursday, May 1 the children will participate in crowning Mary, Queen of Heaven and earth. Following the May Crowning, a living rosary will be said.  Please send flowers with your child on Thursday to be placed in a class vase.  You are welcome to join us for this event at 2:00 in the church.  If anyone is able to play the keyboard or the organ for the processional, please let us know.

This Thursday, May 1 we will have a Parish Prayer Night.  It will begin at 7 p.m. and last about a half hour.  Join us in Thanksgiving for all the blessings we enjoy and the continued success of our parish.

Our annual Alumni Mass and Breakfast will be held this Friday, May 2.  Mass begins at 8:20.  All parents who are alumni are encouraged to attend.  Please RSVP to the school office.  We would love to see 100% participation!

A small hearing aid was found in the Gym after Grandparent’s day.  If it belongs to anyone you know,  please let the school know.

The K of C #4175 and the Ursuline Foundation have agreed to continue the 35th Annual Chicken Dinner on Sunday, May 4, 2008.  St. Aloysius will receive $1.00 from each ticket we sell through the school or after Mass.  Please spread the word and buy your tickets from us!

If anyone needs uniform shorts, we have quite a few that you may pick up from the school office for free!

Eighth Grade students will have their graduation picture taken on May 8th instead of May 7th as stated on the calendar.  Lifetouch will also take individual pictures of each girl in their cap and gown.  Kindergarten will also have their group picture taken on May 8th.

We have a few yearbooks for sale for $15 each.  If you would like one, please send the money in an envelope.

Attached is an order form for Summer Skills Review books that you can use to help your child review what they have learned this year over the summer vacation.  These books are completely optional.

Attached is a permission slip to receive a yard statue of Mary.  Fr. Schulte has gravel for weighing it down, and asks only that you complete the permission slip for your child to receive one to place in your front yard.
